Certificate Awarding Ceremony – Molecular Biology Basics 2026

Agricultural Biotechnology Center, University of Peradeniya (AgBC) offered the Molecular Biology Basics Certificate Course (2026) to final-year undergraduate students of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, for free of charge (about Rs. 30000 worth). The Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held on 29 April 2026 at the Diamond Jubilee Hall, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya. 120 students successfully completed the course (100% attendance for both theory and practical sessions and passed the assessment) and were awarded certificates.

This annual program, conducted by the Agricultural Biotechnology Centre, marks a significant milestone in advancing scientific knowledge and fostering innovation in the field of Molecular Biology.

foundation for future contributions to the advancement of Molecular Biology.
